Black Friday is a big deal
As seen in the keyword volume charts, "Black Friday" terms are dormant for 10 months of the year, then vertically spike to over 2 Million searches in November!
- The Window: The traffic growth is forecasted at +11%, but the window is short. You must rank before the spike peaks.
- The Volume: Global Search Volume (GSV) is 35M+ across 500k+ keywords.

We see that Reddit ranks #1 for all of these keywords.
Up to 887 keywords across 554 pages with a search volume captured of almost 5M/mo! This will be even higher during the Black Friday rush later this week.
Why? Google’s "Helpful Content" updates favor user-generated discussions over affiliate blogs

⚔️ Ranking Strategy
To capitalize on this traffic, we will utilize a two-pronged approach: "Parasite SEO" (Leveraging Reddit) and On-Site Optimization.
Strategy A: The "Parasite" Method (Leveraging Reddit)
Since Reddit already holds the #1 spots, we will not fight them; we will join them.
1. Target High-Value Threads (Barnacle SEO)
- Action: Use the provided Google Sheets Export to identify Reddit threads that already rank in the top 3 for your target keywords (e.g., "Best Black Friday Streaming Deals").
- 💡 Make sure to Google the keyword you found again, as the search result can change!
- Execution:
- Do not spam. Add genuine value to the conversation.
- Comment on these ranking threads with updated deals for 2025.
- Include a link to your landing page only if it provides a specific discount code or exclusive offer relevant to that subreddit.

2. Subreddit Sniper Strategy
- Action: Look at the "Subreddit Pivot Table" in the sheet. Match your niche to the specific subreddit (e.g., selling monitors? Go to r/buildapc or r/4kbluray, not just r/BlackFriday).
- Execution:
- Post early (Today!).
- Use keywords in your Reddit post title: "My compilation of the best [Product Category] Black Friday Deals 2025".
- Format with tables and bold text to increase dwell time and upvotes.
- Buy a PBN on these posts, I’d recommend Kevin’s PBN, this will place 1000+ (shitty) backlinks on the Reddit post. PS. Never use this on your own site!
- It can be risky (your own account could be banned, more than 50%+ chance), but you can place posts via CrowdReply + buy a top #1 position via Upvote Shop, use the links above.
Strategy B: On-Site SEO (Ranking Your Domain)
To capture the spillover traffic and rank for long-tail keywords Reddit missed.
1. The "Evergreen" URL Strategy
- Mistake: Creating /black-friday-2025/.
- Fix: Use /black-friday/ or /black-friday-deals/.
- Why: You preserve backlinks and authority year over year. Simply update the Title Tag and H1 to include "2025" when the season starts.
2. Create a "Deals Hub" Structure
- Build a main Black Friday Hub page that links out to categorical sub-pages.
- Hub: domain.com/black-friday/
- Spoke: domain.com/black-friday/software-deals/
- Spoke: domain.com/black-friday/fashion-deals/
- Internal Linking: In Oct/Nov, place a site-wide banner linking to the Hub page to pass maximum link equity.
3. Implement SaleEvent Schema
- Google highlights pages with specific structured data during holidays.
- Wrap your deals in SaleEvent schema markup. This helps you get the "Deals" badge in SERPs, increasing CTR.
4. Update Content Velocity
- During Black Friday week, Google crawls frequently.
- Update your "Deals" page daily (or hourly) with "Live Updates." Google rewards "Freshness" heavily during news spikes. Put a timestamp at the top of the page: "Last Updated: Nov 25, 2:00 PM".
